Wheaton Auto Service Center is owned by Jim Wheaton, who has been a mechanic for most of his life. His father owned a service garage for 30 years, and raced stock cars for 25 years.

Wheaton served in the army as a mechanic for almost 10 years, and then worked at various service stations until about a year-and-a-half ago, when he was presented with an opportunity to run his own service center.

Wheaton works alongside another mechanic, Mark Delossantos, who has 18 years of experience in auto repair. Both of them are state certified mechanics, and service all makes and models for just about everything except the transmission. They offer a wide range of auto repair services like brake repair, diagnostics, front-end suspension, and oil changes for $16.99, plus tax.

Customers can be assured that when they come to Wheaton Auto Service Center, their valuable vehicle is in good hands.

Wheaton Auto Service Center is located at 5031 Gratiot Rd. (at the corner of Center in the Shell station). They are open Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., and Tuesday and Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome, or you can phone 790-2989 for an appointment.
