Hicks Studios celebrates 25th anniversary

Randall and Patricia Tucker opened Hicks Studio just months after their wedding in 1985. They were married in March, and opened the studio in June of that same year. Not only have they celebrated 25 years of marriage, this year also marks the 25th anniversary of their photography studio.

Randall photographed his first wedding when he was only twelve-years-old, and is now a current member of the Professional Photographers of America. He became certified in 1995 and has won several competition awards through these organizations. He’s also Board Certified to teach photography to high school students.

Randall’s wife and company Vice President, Patricia Tucker, is a digital artist for the studio. Their daughter, Kristina Tucker, graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2008 with a degree in photography, and currently works at the studio as a photographer.

Hicks Studio is located at 1982 Hemmeter (on the corner of Hemmeter and State St.), and specializes in families, babies, high school seniors, weddings, children’s specials, sport and school pictures. Their Midland studio, located at 4818 N. Saginaw, has been open since 1990.

Between the Saginaw and Midland locations, there are seven employees at Hicks Studios who pride themselves on great customer service and offering affordable, creative portraiture that will be forever cherished.

Both studios enjoy the privilege of being voted “Best of the Best” by the public in their local newspaper publications.

“We enjoy giving back to the community and our loyal customers,” said Randall Tucker. “We’ve photographed weddings, children, babies, and grandchildren spanning three generations.”

Hicks Studios is thankful to their clients for their support and patronage, and strive to give them the best family heirlooms of portraiture that will be passed on from generation to generation.

As part of their anniversary celebration, Hicks Studio is offering a 2011 senior’s special for a 16” x 20” print for $25.00, and free sessions for babies under five-years-old.
