Freeland Arts in the Park

The annual Freeland Arts in the Park event took place Saturday, September 11, at Tittabawassee Township Park. Guests were able to see the area’s top artists at work, listen to local musicians, and taste a variety of foods such as cheese, crackers, meats, fruit, vegetables, bread and pie. Everyone was encouraged to take part in the silent and live auctions, while enjoying samples of different wines from around the world.

Among the many participating artists were Luella L. Belle, Kathleen Ericson, oil painter, Karl R. Denton (www.karldenton.com), photo/mixed media, and Mike and Tracy Kehr (www.tracykehr.com), displaying their collection of sterling silver, custom soldered charms.

Featured musicians included Acoustic Blends, Maybe August (acoustic), Empty Canvas featuring Empty Pockets, and Jedi Mind Trip.
